How can praising the Lord help you to treasure your wellness? When you are feeling down about how your clothes are fitting or you are self-conscious about your menopausal belly bloat that always seems to be there no matter how much you exercise, how can praising God through your physical, mental/emotional struggles help you to treasure your wellness? Actually quite a lot!
We are digging into the Bible to see what God says about praise, mindset and our heart posture. This is a good accompaniment to last week’s episode on thanksgiving.
When we feel down or overwhelmed it is helpful to remember where God brought us from-what He brought us through. And give Him praise. It restores our soul. Praising God helps us to treasure our wellness as we are treating our bodies as the temple of the Holy Spirit.
The season of midlife, yes even the menopausal symptoms in this season, is the perfect time to truly treasure your temple and treasure your wellness.
