Hi Friend!  Ah the holidays…. they can bring up so many different emotions depending on where we are in our season of life.  As women over 40, we could be dealing with a whole host of situations and difficulties right now during the busy holiday season.  Empty nest, adult children, kids in college, grandchildren, aging parents, grief, loss, sadness, depression, anxiety, fear, stress. SO many things. I am going through a Bible study in the book of Judges and wow can it be intense! But the words of God in the Bible are inspired and can help us through every single area in our lives. The words of God all throughout the Bible are always applicable to us even today. Today I share 3 things that were made clear to me as I read chapters 1&2 in the book of Judges.  Some keys: Seeking God’s wisdom is different than following God’s wisdom. Even when it’s hard, partial obedience is still disobedience to God.  After Joshua’s death was the beginning of Generational curses. Where is my sin hindering the next generation?   The book of Judges is a book of the Bible I have avoided for most of my walk with God.
